Special Education - PQP Subsidy Pre-Approval

Please take complete the Special Education PQP subsidy pre-approval form. After your submission an OPC representative will be in touch to confirm your pre-approval.

• This subsidy is available to PQP 1 candidates who registered for programs taking place  Summer 2022 – Fall 2024 (inclusive).

Please note: If your practicum proposal has already been approved, you cannot change it to align with the criteria for this subsidy.

Attestation:

• I have registered for PQP1.
• My pre-approved practicum proposal will be aligned to special education for school leaders focusing on equity, accessibility, inclusion, and full participation of students with special education needs and students with disabilities.  
• I will complete an additional assignment within 1 month of PQP1 completion. The assignment is a summative reflection with a focus on special education for school leaders that will be assessed to ensure focus on equity, accessibility, inclusion, and full participation of students with special education needs and students with disabilities.
• I will complete a follow-up survey regarding the experience and resulting impact, once the course is  successfully completed.

All subsidy requirements must be successfully completed by March 31, 2025. No extensions will be granted. If the requirements are not met by the deadline, the principals’ association will not fulfil the subsidy application.
